In just a few days the results will be out! This article will help you prepare for the results day.

Results Day:
Thursday 18th of August – AS & A-Level (UK and International)
Thursday 25th of August – GCSE (UK and International)

Grading:
GCSE: 1-9, 9 being the highest grade.
A-Level: A*-E, A* being the highest grade.

Grading Boundaries can be found here.

Although we hope that all students were happy with their results, if that is not the case, here are two options make available to all students who would like to get their results rechecked:
1. Ask your school to request to see a copy of your exam. Please note you will have to give written permission for your school to do so! – This could be a good step moving forward. You may want to see your exam before trying option 2.

2. Ask your school to apply for review of marking or moderation. Keep in mind that this may in either bring your result up, or down or it can also stay the same!
(Private candidate can apply for moderation directly, whereas other students have to apply though the school)

A few things to keep in mind:
1. The school may charge you for any (and all) services that you request.

2. Keep in mind the deadlines! Get in touch with your coordinator or if you are a private candidate then with Pearson directly. Make sure you do not miss any important deadlines!

IGCSE (International IGSCE): Please note that Pearson does not have a November exam session for International GSCE students. Contact your school for advice if you are not happy with your results.

A-Level Results sent to UCAS: If you have applied to a UK university through UCAS it is likely that your school would have shared your candidate number, thus allowing Pearson to directly provide your results to the universities.

UCAS Exam Results Helpline is +44 (0) 800 100 900.

Certificates: Please be aware that the certificated (diplomas) will be issued approximately 10 weeks after the results day. Remember to keep this document safe, you might need it later on!

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us! We look forward to hearing from you!
